  • Urgent Announcement- A+ after school care canceled Wednesday 1/24/18. Do to emergency repairs to our water main valve the school's water will be shut down after school Wednesday 1/24/18.  Due to this shutdown we are canceling our after school A+ child care for that day only.  We apologize for the inconvenience.  If you have any questions please call the school office.

  • The joy of giving is alive at Kalihi Waena This Thursday, December 14th we were blessed with a visit from Primary Residential Mortgage Inc. Hawaii (PRMI) and the Kids in Need Foundation.  Check out our awesome students and the amazing gifts they received  from them!  We cannot express our gratitude enough to Mr. Nelson Oyadomari and his team along side the Kids in Need Foundation. This event was a fantastic way to go into the holiday break with our students spirits high and their hearts filled with love. With this gift all of our kids will be able to come back from the break with everything they need to be successful in their education, backpacks, supplies, and most importantly, the knowledge that their entire community loves and supports them ...

  • School Positive Behavior Store a Success We are proud to say that our positive behavior system has been a big hit!  Students on campus can earn "kala"(dollars) to go to the "Hale Ku'ai Liona" (Lion Store) and purchase rewards of their choice.  Our students have really shown they love the rewards and their behavior shows it.  Way to go kiddo's!!!  You rock!That said, because our students are so awesome, we are running low on supplies and need your help.  We are asking for donations of new or gently used items to "sell" in the store.  These items can be anything from; toys (ages 5-11), accessories, and school supplies, to personal items like tooth brushes, soaps, and food.  We accept any item ...
