Campus Beautification

September 10th, 2017
US Navy Reserve Campus Beautification Event

We were honored to have 31 members of the United States Navy Reserve members from NOSC Pearl Harbor come to our school and support our ongoing efforts to make our school the best school possible.

The First Class Petty Officers and Chief Petty Officers worked quickly and effectively to complete four major projects the school had not been able to accomplish on our own.  They entombed the time capsule for opening in 2038, power washed the sidewalk in front of the cafeteria, painted the railing in front of the office building upstairs, and painted a primer coat on two brand new doors on campus.  A huge MAHALO goes out to all the fantastic Sailors for all their hard work and dedication to the youth of Hawaii.

Breakfast With Santa

The jolly man in red visited Kalihi Waena Saturday December 16, 2017.  He was welcomed by a performance from our cheerleaders and the smiling children's faces.  Santa had such a blast with the kids it nearly knocked him out!

PRMI Donaton

Check out our awesome students and the amazing gifts they received Thursday, December 14th 2017 from PRMI (Primary Residential Mortgage Inc., Hawaii). We cannot express our gratitude enough to Mr. Nelson Oyadomari and his team along side the Kids in Need Foundation. This event was a fantastic way to go into the holiday break with our students spirits high and their hearts filled with love. With this gift all of our kids will be able to come back from the break with everything they need to be successful in their education, backpacks, supplies, and most importantly, the knowledge that their entire community loves and supports them.
Again, thank you PRMI and the Kids in Need Foundation. We appreciate everything you have done.

LION STORE
Hale Ku'ai Leona (Lion Store)!  The grand opening of our school store happened in August 2017.  This store is to reward our students for positive behavior where they can purchase items with Lion Kala (Lion Dollars). Donations are welcome for any interested in supporting the store.
